About Us

You're A Part of The Story

Woven Tree's mission is to wrap around and champion chidren in foster care and staff by providing needed resources, helping them see their value, know their purpose, and rally the community around them to do the same.  This is done by bringing reprieve, resources, support, and value to our foster care staff and children in tangible ways so they can truly walk in wholeness and in their purpose.

Woven Tree was founded by Leah Levine and her family from the many years they spent working with children, with youth, in impoverished areas, and within the foster care system.  Leah has over 25 years of experience in the corporate and non-profit business sectors.   She has also spent time not only in inter-city community outreach but also traveled to impoverished areas globally.   Her passion is to see the foster care system and non-profits that serve their communities be organized, healthy, integrated, and thriving as true foundations that help people live more quality and thriving lives.  Leah has earned her MBA from the University of Wales (UK) and is a professor of business in Tennessee.   She and her husband have owned a non-profit since 2007 which consults other non-profits on organization, training, staffing, and culture.

Woven Tree would like to give special honor to Rylan Steubing,

whose life and heart were spent helping impoverished children and teen moms.  She left us too early in her life but her heart, passion, and memory carry on in the efforts of Woven Tree.  We miss and love you Rylan.  You left a lasting legacy on everyone you met.
